Well duh, Devil May Cry started off as a Resident Evil project, and it resulted in one of the best hack n slash franchises of all time. Damn loading and damn cutscenes? *Ahem* Back when I played DmC, cutscenes were UNSKIPPABLE , and considering how stupid its story is, it was a huge pain in the ass.

Way more technical, way more demanding than spamming back to forward to get free parries. DMC5 seems like it's more technical because it gives you more weapons and moves but it's actually much easier to play at a high level than any other DMC game. It's a great game, but it's no DMC3 or 4 without mods. Not even close.

Having never played a Devil May Cry game before, but being a fan of spectacle fighters (yes, a spectacle fighter fan who hasn't played DMC), I had purchased DMC4 and DmC last winter sale. I'm planning on playing through DMC4 soon, but I'm wondering if the Special Edition would be worth the $25 or if I should just stick with the original.

Hey guys, i wanna buy DMC 4, but im not sure which version to pick. Im between the Special edition or the Demon hunter bundle. As far as i know, the bundle contains content that can be unlocked during the game right, except something called Trish/Lady costumes. There are worth the price or are useless?. Thanks so much! Get the HD play 1 and 3. Then later on you can play DmC. Turning them off gives a significant boost, but it's still nowhere near the performance of the original game. And the motion blur filter is hideous and probably hurts the performance as well. You can turn off blur in the ini settings, and be sure to use the find option in notepad or whatever, as they can have multiple entries of it. .
